Mae (Carpenter) Harden, 94, of Springfield, Ohio passed away November
22, 2018 at Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield, Ohio.
Geneva was born October 11, 1924 in Fairfield County, Ohio to Carl and
Minnie Carpenter. She was a member of Church of God, and Christ Chapel
Church.
Surviving are son Raymond Edward (Vicki) Harden of Logan; daughters,
Nancy Ross of Springfield, Diana Clay of Springfield, Sheri (Mark)
Goheen of Springfield, Linda (Jerry Dye) Rhyan of Springfield, and Sandy
(Ken Malott) Patrick of Springfield; many grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild; and brother James
(Faye) Carpenter of Lancaster.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond F. Harden;
son Richard Harden; granddaughter Tracy Cottrill; sister Eileen
Ellinger; and brother Lawrence Carpenter.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the
Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Thomas Weills
officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm and
Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 11 am to time of service, all at the
funeral home.
