Grace E Gleason, age 82, of Marietta, Ohio, went to be with Jesus on December 31, 2022, at Waterview Pointe, Marietta, Ohio.
Grace was born February 10, 1940, in New Jersey to John and Grace Taylor. Grace’s gift was being a Mom. She put her children before herself. She loved unconditionally. She taught her kids to put Jesus first and to always love and forgive each other.
Surviving are children, Betty Clemons, Barbara (Bill) Grizer, Kay (Jay) Beasley, Fay (Mike) Robbins, Cathy (Steven) Heskett, Leslie Gleason, and Frank Gleason; 3 stepchildren, David (June) Gleason, Corliss Jean Petry, and Janetta Klink; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Ottis Taylor; and 2 sisters, Alma Hannah and Elie Taylor.
Grace was preceded in death by parents, Taylor and Grace Taylor; husband, Corliss Gleason; daughter, Connie Hammonds; stepson, Stephen Gleason; and 4 brothers, Samuel Taylor, Charles Taylor, Thomas Taylor, and John Taylor.
Funeral services were held at 10 am on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Marietta Bible Missionary in Marietta, Ohio with Rev. Bill Grizer officiating. Burial was in Osage Community Church Cemetery in Toronto, Ohio.
