Harold William “Bill” Gill, age 77, of Logan, Ohio, passed away August 22, 2023, at his home in Logan, Ohio.
Bill was born August 13, 1946, in Hocking County, Ohio to Harold and Charlotte Gill. He was a member of Moose Lodge #873, and enjoyed gambling and playing cards with his friends every Tuesday night at the Home Tavern.
Surviving are his loving wife, Ruby D. Woolever-Gill; children, Donnie (Shannon Alford) Gill and Diane (Tony) Kollister; grandchildren, A.J., Mike, Mark, Chris, Ryan, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Beckett, Foster, Olivia, Addy, Alivia, Elijah, and Kenzie; brothers, David (Florence Crowl) Gill and James B. (Bobbi Kennedy) Gill; sisters, Deb (Larry) Wagoner and Millie (Eric) Belden; special cousin, Rose Knox Dillard; and many special friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Harold R Gill and Charlotte A. Bownes-Gill.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday August 26, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Iris Conrad officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, with Military Graveside services by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours were observed 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday August 25, 2023, and 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday August 26, 2023, at the funeral home.
