Howard Lee Easterling, age 61, of New Straitsville, Ohio, passed away August 12, 2022, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Howard was born January 31, 1961, in Nelsonville, Ohio. He was an avid Harley Rider.
Surviving are his mother, Sheila Brady Hartley of Nelsonville; father, Howard Lee Easterling of Buchtel; siblings, Tammie Bentley of Nelsonville, Zella (Scott) Easterling of Grove City, Gary (Teri) Easterling of Hillsdale, Michigan, Sheila (Jason Lyons) Taggart of Nelsonville, Doug (B. J.) Fuller of Chauncey, Tom (Wendy) Mitchell of Murray City, and Shane Mitchell of Nelsonville; children, Chris (Misty), Josh, Domonic, and Sheila Mae; 7 grandchildren; and special friends, Heather and Terry.
Howard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel & Delphin Easterling, Don & Doris Brady, and Marcel & Harold Whitmore.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday August 16, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 12 n – 4 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, donations be made to the funeral home to help with Howard’s funeral expenses.
