Iona “Ruth” Sinnott, age 84, of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
Ruth was born January 6, 1939, in Butchel, Ohio to John Six and Josephine Davis. She enjoyed going to flea markets, shopping, going out to eat, and harassing her husband.
Surviving are her loving husband of over 30 years, Ronald M. Sinnott; children, Deborah (Warren) Smith, John D. Smyers, Trent (Carla) Smyers, and Eric Smyers; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Nihiser; sister in laws, Loretta and Gloria Six.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, John Six and Josephine M. Six; son, Craig A. Smyers; brothers, Bob and Jim Six.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday November 24, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio with Mike Weatherall officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio following the service.
Calling hours were observed from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
