Jack C. Rizer III, 58 years of age went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2021.
He was born on April 10, 1963 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Jack C. Rizer Jr. and Mary E. Walker.
In life, Jack enjoyed hunting for deer, turkeys, coyotes and rabbits; and when mushroom season came around he was out hunting for them too. He also liked to fish, go frog gigging, and trapping muskrats. Jack loved being around family and making his famous bean soup and hog roasts around the campfire. Jack was just a good ole country boy through and through.
Jack is survived by his mother Mary E. Walker; daughters, Hunter Morgan (Greg) Pritchard, Jacklyn Cierra Rizer, Logan Elizabeth (Justin Patterson) Rizer, and Halley (Jeff) Graham; grandchildren, Kamden, Kinsley, Lillith, Hazlee, Brandon, and Peyton; brother Fred (Angelina) Groff; sisters, Nancy Houk and Tonya (Dan) Rizer-Beal; step-brother Mike (Ginny) Walker; several nieces and nephews; and cousins, Lee (Charlie) Hoffman, Rose Craiglow, Jackie Losey, Bonnie & Tom Heistand, Debbie & Jerry Gilbert, and Mary Rizer Whittle.
Jack is preceded in death by his father Jack C. Rizer Jr.; wonderful step-father W.H. Walker; grandparents, Josephine & Edward Jones whom Jack loved to play rummy with, and Jack C. Sr. & Eva Reedy; favorite aunt Juanita Selby; last love of his life Vicky Fisher Stewart who always remained in his heart; cousin Harry Rizer; and long ago friend who had an unfortunate accident Rob Clark whom he never forgot.
Jack will forever be missed and will always be in our hearts and hopefully now at rest in God’s care.
