Jacob Robert Hollis, age 27, of El Paso, TX, passed away April 25, 2024.
Jacob was born March 31, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio to Robert John Hollis and Paula Marie Hollis.
Jacob was serving our country in the US Army, B Company, 2 Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division. He was a 2015 graduate of Logan High School; raced dirt bikes and ATVs; had a talent for playing guitar and drums; and was generous, positive, and had a kind soul.
Jacob is Survived by his father, Robert Hollis; stepmother, Rhonda Lamp-Hollis; wife, Alishia Hollis; stepbrothers, Thomas (Elisha) Lamp and Steven Lamp; half-brother, Christopher Jewell; grandparents, Rick and Teresa Bridges; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jacob was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Marie Hollis; grandmother, Karen J. Hollis; and grandfather, Dean Hollis.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, where military services were conducted.
Calling hours were observed 3 to 7 P.M. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the funeral home.
