James G. Lehman, age 83, of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Jim was the son of Harry J. Lehman and Mabel Lehman; and he was married 65 years to Mary Ann (Wharton) Lehman of Logan, Ohio who survives.
Jim is survived by one son, Eric (Lori) Lehman of Logan; 8 grandchildren, Jason Lehman, Tisha Lehman Hacker, Caitlin Lehman (Dakota) Wexler, Ericka Lehman (Jeremy) Miller, Adam Lehman, Ariel Lehman, J. J. Lehman, and Isaiah Lehman; 12 great-grandchildren; special niece Kathy Myers Bennington; brothers-in-law, Clifton “Pork” and Martha Wharton and Eugene and Connie Mohler; and his best friend, his dog Jeffrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mabel Lehman; 2 sons and one daughter-in-law, Mark Lehman, and James M. and Bonnie Lehman; grandson, Bryce Lehman; great-granddaughter, Eliana Hacker; sister, Louise Mason Smith; brother, Richard Lehman; and special friend, Estel J. Rollins.
Jim worked as a field superintendent for 43 years for Columbus Heat & Ventilation of Columbus, Ohio; a member of the Rockbridge United Methodist Church; and was a Sunday School teacher at Mt. Olive UMC. He was a Boy Scout Leader; Loved the Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns; and his special interest were reading and drawing prints for buildings. He loved setting on the deck watching nature and all wildlife. He was a wonderful husband and father. We love him so much.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 5 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the funeral home.
