James R. Thompson, age 56, of Logan, Ohio, passed away July 11, 2022, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
James was born February 26, 1966, in Logan, Ohio. He was a graduate of Logan High School; and worked for MPW Power Washing Company in Chillicothe. James liked to listen to music and work on old riding mowers.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Thompson; sisters, Melvena Wolfe, Vicki Danison, Debi Perry, and Mary Beth McGathey; nieces and nephews, Josh Danison, Jared Danison, Caroline Perry, and Kristen Perry; and dear friends Greg Blair and Lynn Woods.
James was preceded in death by his father, Clyde R. Thompson and son Ryan Thompson.
Calling hours were observed on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 12:00 Noon to the time of service.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio.
