James Thomas Schultz, age 73, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away August 29, 2022, at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, Ohio.
James was born February 12, 1949, in Logan, Ohio to Thomas and Helen Schultz. He worked at Rocky Brands of Nelsonville, US Shoes of Cincinnati, and as Ombudsman at the former Logan Health Care.
Surviving are his children, Michelle (Jason) Andrews of Nelsonville, Christopher (Susan) Schultz of Logan, and Jeromy (Brooke) Schultz of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Isaiah, Isaac, Noah, Kenzie, Avairie, Dylan, Hailie, Mya, Ava, and Carter; many nieces and nephews; brothers, Steven Schultz of North Carolina, David (Jennifer) Schultz of Nelsonville, and Roger (Barb) Schultz of Iowa; sister, Linda Bullock of Nelsonville; and special friend, Pat Bullock.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Schultz; loving grandparents; and brothers, Melvin Schultz, Michael Schultz and Joseph Schultz.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday from 11 am till time of service.
