Janet D. Hamilton, age 69, of McConnelsville, Ohio, passed away January 29, 2023, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.
Janet was born September 7, 1953, in Lancaster, Ohio to Lucille and Don J. Tague. Janet loved to read and listen to country music. She spent a lot of time scrolling on Facebook looking at pictures of her grandchildren and riding with her husband on the Harley-Davidson Trike. Janet adored caring for babies and children and making holiday dinners for family.
Surviving are her husband, Randy A. Hamilton Sr.; sons, Jason Hamilton and Randy Hamilton Jr.; grandchildren, Aleigha (Matthew) Buchman and Kaden Hamilton; great- grandchildren, Gracyn Love, Everett Buchman, and Lukah Hamilton; and many other friends and family.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Lucille Tague; mother-in-law, Betty Hamilton; father-in-law, Lewis Hamilton Sr.; brother, Roger Tague; and sister, Linda Dosch.
Funeral services were held at 11am on Friday February 3, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Church Cemetery, Maxville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm Thursday, February 2, 2023, and 10 am – 11 am on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the funeral home.
