Janice Sue Watkins, 85 of Logan, Ohio passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2022. She was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on December 11, 1936. She graduated from Logan High School in 1954. She worked as a cook for the Logan School District and retired after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes. She attended Antioch Alliance Church for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and will be missed greatly by all who loved her.
Janice is survived by her children, Keevin Tyrone (Rhonda) Watkins of Logan and Jodi Lynn (Jody) Warthman of Logan; brother Charles Wilson of Lancaster; sisters, Pam (Chuck) Schrader of Logan, Shirlene (Loyd) Hedges of Lancaster; and Emma (Jim) Tootle of Sanford, Florida; and grandchildren, Cody Hamilton, Caitlynn Hamilton, Jadyn Watkins, Sydney Watkins, and Emily Warthman.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Reva Wilson; her husband of 48 years Keevin E. Watkins; sister-in-law Joanne Wilson; brother-in-law Carl Bush; and nephew Matt Wilson.
Janice’s wishes were to be cremated. There was a private graveside service Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio that was officiated by Pastor Steve Hubbard of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
