Jeffrey Allen Balch, age 56, of Millfield, Ohio, passed away December 5, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Jeffrey was born March 27, 1964 in Athens, Ohio to Elmer Balch Sr. and Gladys Plunkett Balch. He was a graduate of Federal Hocking High School; worked for Carpenter’s Union Local #356 of Marietta; and loved hunting, fishing, and root digging.
Surviving are his sisters, Nancy Balch of Athens, and Marlene McDaniel of Millfield; brothers, Sam Balch of Nelsonville, and Elmer Balch of Glouster; 1/2 brother, Dennis (JoAnn) Plunkett of Wellsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents; brother Hank Balch; and sister Betty Jean Balch.
Graveside services were held at 12 noon Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, Ohio.
Arrangements are by Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville.
