Jerry Charles Hayman, age 70, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away June 16, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.
Jerry was born April 5, 1953, in Point Pleasant, WV to Harry Hayman and Vera Belle Hayman. Jerry was an avid reader and history buff, especially the American Civil War. Cooking was Jerry’s love language. He also loved watching baseball and football; as well as, buying and selling antiques on Ebay.
Surviving are his soulmate, best friend, and wife, Cindy Hayman; children, Greta K. (Charles “Chuck”) Holbrook and Olivia (Tomas Ruiz) Hayman; grandchildren, Nathan Hayman, Gage Bruce, Montana Bruce, and Kade Hayman; brothers, George “Buddy” (Tere) Hayman and Sid Hayman; sisters, Judy (Bob) Hrivnak, Cheryle (Carrol) Knight, Donna Jean (Bill) Nease; brother-in-law, Greg Frank; sister-in-law, Helen Frank; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special nieces, Vicky (Steve) Thorn and Danielle (Loren) Frank-Martinez; special nephew, Scott Frank and many other close friends and family.
Jerry was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bill Hayman, Jim (Edna) Hayman, Bob (Shirley) Hayman; sisters, Vera “Tude” (Jerry) Price and Miraim (Andy) Hrivnak.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday June 21, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Leslie Hayman officiating. Cremation followed.
Calling hours were observed 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday June 21, 2023, at the funeral home.
