Jestinah Eileen Mohler

Jestinah Eileen Mohler, 91, of Logan, Ohio passed away July 1, 2018 at Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio. Eileen was born May 21, 1927 in Perry County, Ohio to Jesse and Vesta Mohler. She graduated from High School in Geneseo, Illinois; formerly worked at Cussin and Fearns in Logan; for over 25 years she played instruments and sang vocals in the Gospelaires; and a longtime member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Randy (Susie) Mohler of Lancaster, Jerald (Carol) Mohler of Logan, Wyatt (Becky) Mohler of Logan, and Jeff (Wanda) Mohler of Logan; daughters, Linda Thompson of Junction City, Emily (Marc) Wray, Ellen Hamilton, and Jeanette Dicken all of Logan; 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Carol Mohler of Logan. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert E. Mohler; son Larry Mohler; grandsons, Shawn Mohler, and Larry Michael Mohler; granddaughters, April Mohler, and Tina Van Bibber; son-in-law Charles Thompson; and sister Ramona Hicks. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Maxville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
