John Edward Watkins, age 61, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away May 18, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
John was born October 13, 1963, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Donald Watkins and Dorothy Daines. He loved the Cleveland Browns, the outdoors, fishing, and having good times with his friends.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Daines of Arizona; siblings, Brenda Farley of Nelsonville, Patricia Krone of New Jersey, Mary Jury of Arizona, James Courchene of Toledo, Betty Courchene of Arizona, Steve Courchene of Missouri, and Don Watkins of Nelsonville; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and good friend Raymond Brooks.
John was preceded in death by his father; brother, Kenny Watkins; and sister, Martha Courchene.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
