John “Johnny” Oehlers

John “Johnny” Henry Oehlers III, age 48, passed away peacefully on Monday January 29,2024, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He is no longer suffering from brain cancer. Johnny was born on May 15, 1975, in Marion, Ohio. He is the son of late John and Cathrine Oehlers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly, of 30 years; daughter, Kenzie (Wesley) Mannasmith; grandsons, Hudson and Hank; twin sister, Tamika (Adam) Rivers; baby sister, Kimberly Oehlers; brother, Jamie Oehlers; mother-in-law, Brenda Kasler; fur babies, Babies and Monster “partners in crime;” maternal grandmother, Donna; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his lifelong friends, Chris Schwab and Steve Powell.

He loved spending time with his grandkids; enjoyed riding his motorcycle; loved hunting and fishing; and hanging out with friends. He enjoyed life with his wife and fur babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine; paternal grandparents, John and Betty; maternal grandfather, Harley; father-in-law, Frank Kasler; special granny, Betty; aunts and uncles; and childhood friend, Samuel Music.

Funeral services are arranged by Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.

Visitation was on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio, with a service at 7 pm with Joy Withem officiating, and again on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Boyd Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. Services were followed by cremation and staying home with his wife and fur babies.

In lieu of flowers, family would greatly appreciate any donations be given to Warren-Brown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
