John Mark Colvin, 54, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away October 26, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. John was born December 23, 1960 in West Liberty, KY. He worked for 25 years for David White Services in Athens; and loved camping, fishing and reading. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Melissa Colvin of Nelsonville; daughter, Heidi Colvin of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Colvin of Nelsonville, Michael Almy of Portland, MI, and Sabastian Stephenson of Nelsonville; sister, Sherry Almy of Portland, MI; father, Norman Colvin of Nicholasville, KY; mother, Sandra Royston of Portland, MI; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jason Dodson. John was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Colvin. Funeral services were held 6:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5-6 pm at the funeral home.
