John Michael Wolford, age 65, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away April 14, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
John was born February 11, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to John F. and Patty A. Wolford. He liked to watch Mash and play the game, Candy Crush. John loved to visit the casino and eat out while spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife Thaksina Wolford; step-children, Ann (Derek Evans) Poonsooksirisub and Oi (Fang) Poonsooksirisub; step-grandson Ben; sisters, Christi (Jeffrey) Mohler and Connie Guess both of Logan; nieces, Serenity (DJ) Gillespie and Brandie Clark; nephews, Joshua Wolford and Dustin (Anna) Hiles; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and sister-in-law Thoy (Joe) Reynolds.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brother Mark Wolford; nephew Austin Mohler and several grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours were observed on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
Funeral services were held at 5:00 P.M., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio at a future date.
