John R Hoy, age 92, of Logan, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly July 26, 2023, at his home.
John was born April 14, 1931, in Logan, Ohio to William and Anna Hoy.
Surviving are stepdaughters, Sharlen (Parker) Higby and Debbie Taylor; 3 grandchildren, Amy Daubenmire, Vickie Kennedy, and William Davis II; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Paul (Lori) Jarosz; and friends, Kenny and Terrie Ball.
John was preceded in death by his spouse, Audra J. Hoy; parents, William and Anna Hoy; 4 sisters; and 5 brothers.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday August 1, 2023, at the funeral home.
