John “J.P.” Sweeney, was born on September 9,1998 to John & Melanie Sweeney.
He is survived by his wife, Becca Schneider; son, Ethan; several sisters and a brother; and several aunts, uncles and cousins from Geneva, Ohio.
His goal in life was to become a soldier and defend his country. He joined the military right after high school, where he toured in Germany for three years. He was a wonderful husband, father and son, and was an absolutely amazing person to be around. He could light up any room he walked into and always knew how to make people laugh and smile. He will be missed by all who have met him and will continue to make people smile with his memory.
There were Calling Hours on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9 to 12 am at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan Ohio. There was a Military Service by the Hocking County Honor Guard, prior to the end of Calling Hours.
