Joyce Marie Murphy, age 65, of New Plymouth, Ohio, passed away January 11, 2022, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Joyce was born February 15, 1956, in Louisiana to Birnal and Elizabeth Davis. Her family was her world, and they will be lost without her. Joyce was the glue that held her family together. Her kind personality was loved by all, and she never met a stranger. She loved to play cards, including Euchre and Rummy.
Surviving are her loving and loyal servant of 9 years, Bob “Jay” Murphy; children, Charisha Wingfield and Tarisha Wingfield; grandchildren, Aubrianna Griffin, Cayden Griffin, Liam Davis, Vega Hiles, and Riot Bechtel; siblings, Jim (Dottie) Davis, Mandy Davis, Bill Davis, and Donna Vanhorn; dogs, Maggie and Maddie; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and amazing friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ruth Brown and Cynthia Shihn.
A private family viewing was held at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
