Judith A. (Pittman) Smith, age 79, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 24, 2022, at her residence.
Judy was born June 26, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio to John E. Hoover and Mary A. Flowers Hoover. She was an active member of the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary Post # 78 in Logan; member of the Amvets in Logan; and member of the former Marion Grange in Logan.
Surviving are sons, Russel E. (Laura) Pittman of Virginia and Thomas Bradley Pittman of Logan; daughter, Twana Ventola of New Marshfield; grandchildren, Russel Aaron Pittman, Tiffany Pittman, Timothy Cox, Alexandria Pittman, Michael Stephenson, Autumn Pittman, Kaitlin Pittman, Joseph Ventola, and Josh Ventola; several great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Hoover of Logan; and significant other, Gary “Stretch” Spencer of Logan.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Thomas Pittman; second husband, Glen Smith; daughter-in-law, Debbie Stephenson-Pittman; sister-in-law, Linda Hoover; brother-in-law, Earl Pittman; and nephews, Doug Pittman and Kent Carpenter.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
