Judith Ann Powers, age 82, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 12, 2023, at the Carlin House, Logan, Ohio.
Judith was born September 5, 1940, in Orbiston, Ohio to Willard and Luella Dixon. She graduated from Murray City High School in 1958. Judith’s greatest love and enjoyment was her grandchildren and Family. She also loved fishing and traveling. Judith worked for Dr. Tom Price and Buckeye Vision Care Center as a technician and receptionist for many years. She was a member of Kline Memorial United Methodist Church for several years.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Powers, who she married May 17, 1959; sons, Michael (Beth) Powers of Logan and James (Wendy) Powers of Logan; daughters, Christine (Steve) West of Logan and Carol Powers (Brenda Hinerman) of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Dee Marcelyn) Dixon of Logan; and sisters-in-law, Gladys Dixon of Athens, Shirley Myers of Columbus, and Rose Martin of Grove City.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents: Willard and Luella Dixon; and brothers, Bill Dixon, Ted Dixon, and Bob Dixon.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., March 15, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Mike Adkins officiating. Burial was in Conner Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 11 A.M to time of service.
