Judith G. Scott 79 of Logan, passed away January 20,2021 at Doctor’s Hospital West, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born May 14, 1941 in Athens County to Alice Lane Stanley Kollister and Floyd Stanley.
She married David L. Scott on October 10, 1959. They had 5 children, Glendon D. “Glen” (Gale) Scott of Lancaster, Debra K. (Tim) Dixon of Chillicothe, Connie S. (Rich) Hoff of Columbus, Stanley M. (Sharon) Scott of Logan, and Melinda J. “Mindy” Hamm of Logan; grandchildren, Brandy Scott Nelson, Ann Scott Clark, Lauren Dixon, Stephanie Dixon, Christopher Scott ,Shane Scott, Samuel Scott, Olivia Hamm, and Brody Hamm, all grandchildren, except Stephanie Dixon, live in Logan; 8 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Bob (Kay)Stanley of Carbondale , Jane (Chuck ) Russell of Nelsonville , Ted (Joyce ) Stanley of Buchtel , and Mary Alice “Sis” (Gary) McBride of Carbondale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband David Scott; son Glen Scott; granddaughter Lauren; brother Bob; and sister Sis.
Graveside services were held at 12 noon, Monday January 25, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio with Rev. Jason Fisher officiating.
Calling hours were Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 6-8 pm at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
