Karen K. Spencer, age 62, of Murray City, Ohio, passed away November 20, 2021, at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens, Ohio.
Karen was born March 3, 1959, in Nelsonville, Ohio to James William “Bill” Spencer and Adrienne J. Sorrell Spencer. She retired from Goodyear in Logan; was a NASCAR fan; was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan; and loved her family.
Surviving are sons Stephen (Kayla Skinner) Spencer of Glouster, and Kenneth Smith of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Joclynn Smith, Adrienne Spencer, James Spencer, Kira Skinner, and Sarah Skinner; sisters, Debbie (John) Smith of Nelsonville, Pam (Angelo) Bannister of Ft. Myers, FL, Billie Jo (Chuck) Walter of Carbon Hill, and Stephanie (Mark) Bowlby of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Rev. David Edgell officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
