Karen K. Lanning went home to the Lord on March 27, 2023, at her home in Murray City, Ohio.
She lived for 64 years 1 month and 16 days. Karen taught sign language at Hocking College for 30 years. She visited many churches.
Karen is survived by her brother, Allan (Candi) Withem of Amesville; sister, Janet Peach of Glouster; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many loving friends, including Lisa Wolfe and Melissa Hart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Margie Withem; husband, Shane Lanning; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Dick & Wanda Lanning; brother and sister-in-law, Terry (Brenda) Withem; and brothers-in-law, Terry Peach & Robert Pancake.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home in Murray City.
