Kathleen Sue Leonard Harden, age 67, of Logan, Ohio, lost her battle to cancer at 11:35 pm on June 23, 2022. She was at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born December 8, 1954, in Logan, Ohio to Arthur Leonard and Elsie Collins Leonard.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Harden; and brother Raymond Leonard.
Surviving are daughter, Julie (Chase) Baker; son, Doug Vermillion; grandchildren, Ashley (Cody) Overholts, Greg Heminger, Leanne Heminger, and Devonte Vermillion; great-grandchildren, Peyton Livingston, Emberleigh Heminger, Jayden Roush, Kylen Overholts, Koldyn Overholts, and Rilynn Barbee is on the way; her special love, Harold Wayne Burns; sister, Diane (Paul) Caito; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
She was loved by many; cherished for being the wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she loved her family, friends, and her fur babies; loved shopping; had an unbelievable talent and love for her gardening; member of the Eagles Lodge in Logan; and member of the ASPCA
Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 12 noon, Monday June 27, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
