Kay (Christian) Campbell, 85, of Carbon Hill, Ohio passed away May 12, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. She was married to the late Sonny Campbell for 62 years. Kay was born November 3, 1932 in Longstreth, Ohio to David and Maggie Christian. She retired from Ohio University in 1998; member of the Carbon Hill Christian Church; and enjoyed her family, friends, motorcycle riding, and life in general. Surviving are her son, Mike Campbell of Nelsonville; daughter, Sharon (Curt) Gail of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Heather (Wayne Breeze) Gail, Justin (Nicole) Gail, and Jason (Jenny) Gail, all of Nelsonville; great-grandchildren, Devan Phillips, Garrison Breeze, Joanne Breeze, Peyton Gail, Tyler Smith, Camryn Courtney, Patrick Gail, Ethan Gail, and Lydia Dotson; great-great-grandson Dawson Phillips; her dog Sammy; and special friend, Erma Dane. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles “Buz” Christian and Leonard Christian; sisters, Lorena “Sis” Hensley, Hazel Burch, Mary Hensley, Betty Allen, and Joan Harris; niece, Jean (Christian) Zelina; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Avanell and Lawrence Campbell. Funeral services were held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Warren Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. Burial was in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home
