Kevin Swackhamer 59, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away January 24, 2022.
Kevin was a professional drywaller for over thirty years. The last five years he cut back to finishing drywall. He was the best drywall finisher around. He enjoyed watching the birds out his bedroom window every morning. He loved his four-legged girl, Autheana. He enjoyed taking care of his yard also known as his hundred-acre forest for his ten grandkids. His grandkids brought great joy to him. He was Grandad to them. He gave everyone a nickname or two. He enjoyed his garden and barn he built. He was a husband of thirty-one years, dad, grandad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He had a kind big heart and will be missed dearly.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Patricia Swackhamer, of thirty-one years; daughters, Jodie (Kyle Davis) Swackhamer, and Angel (Zak Groves) Swackhamer; stepdaughter, Misty (Jason) Dutch; son, Zackery Howard (Taylor Heimburger) Swackhamer; half-brother Greg Scott; and grandchildren, Taylor, Joseph, Kindra, Ian, Jason, Audrey, Joseph, Aurora, Lukas, and Lincoln.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Scott; aunt, Bernice Swackhamer; brothers, Gary Swackhamer, and Randy Swackhamer; daughter, Nikki Vangundy; and grandson, Tyler Swackhamer.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service was Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 1:30 pm at Real Life Church of Ohio, 1044 Marquette Road Lancaster, Ohio 43130 by Pastor Daniel Chapman. Friends and family called on Saturday from 12:30 to time of service at Real Life Church of Ohio.
