Kyle Vincent Witham, 23, of Columbus, Ohio passed away August 9, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. Kyle was born August 29, 1991 in Athens, Ohio. He was a 2010 graduate of Athens High School with honors; member of the National Honor Society and UNICEF officer. He attended Marietta High School until 2008. He received a full scholarship to OSU for his academic achievements; graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio State University School of Nursing; worked as a Registered Nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus; had a huge heart; loved his job taking care of children; loved his family, friends and co-worker’s and making people smile and laugh. Surviving are his mother, Heather and Leland “Tink” Thomas of Texas; father, Vince and Angie Witham of Nelsonville; brother Cody Witham of Marietta; half-brother Jacob Plageman of Nelsonville, step-brother Travis (Brittany) Saylor of Lancaster; step-sisters, Holly Keeney and Emily Arlen of Nelsonville; niece Taylyn Ray Witham; step-nephew Gauge Saylor; and step-niece Maxine Saylor; maternal grandparents, Anna and Michael Bogers of Florida; paternal grandparents, Wanda Witham of The Plains and Wilbur Dayne Witham of Athens. Kyle was preceded in death by his cousin Jessica Inman. Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon Friday, August 21, 2015, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio with Jason Fisher officiating. Calling hours were observed 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in his memory to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
