Lavonia F. Wollett 88, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away December 18, 2018 at O’Bleness Hospital Athens, Ohio.
Lavonia was born November 16, 1930 in Floodwood, Ohio to John William and Bessie Ann McCombs. She attended the Connett United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Robert (Kathy) VanBibber of Nelsonville, John (Deanna) Wollett of Nelsonville, and Dwight (Peggy) Wollett of Nelsonville; daughters, Linda Klinebriel of Nelsonville, and Brenda Anderson of Nelsonville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild, who brought joy throughout her life.
Lavonia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph H. Wollett, who passed away March 13, 1997; great-grandson; sisters, Julia Duckworth, Mary Taylor, Virginia Harris and Lucretia Smelts; and brother John McCombs.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM Saturday December 22, 2018 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Robert VanBibber and Donnie Holly officiating. Burial was in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
