Lawrence “Larry” Huffines lost his battle with cancer at 4:20 PM on December 4, 2022, at FMC. He was born October 14, 1953, to the late Rev. Scott and Marge Huffines. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Amanda Bent Bolt after 28 years. He was a lifelong fan of OSU, The Bengals, and never met a fist he wouldn’t bump.
Surviving are the love of his life, wife of 47 years, Connie (Angle) Huffines, daughter, Amy (Robert “Bob”) Miller, son, Todd Huffines, grandchildren, Britni (Derrick) McCrady, Jerrod Miller, Brandon Miller, and Quila Hartshorn. Sister, Debbie (Dave) Thompson, brothers, Richard Huffines and Ron (Cheryl) Huffines, in-laws, Anita (Bob) Carr, Becky (Dave) Miller, C.L. Angle J.R., and Angie (Chris) Pierce, many nieces and nephews, and best friends, Scott (Georgia) Six.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Huffines, and sisters-in-law, Nancy Huffines and Vicky Huffines.
Calling hours were observed at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022, and Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 12 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Nephew, Rob Huffines officiated, followed by burial at Knollwood Cemetery Logan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to help with medical expenses and funeral cost.
