Lawrence V. “Larry” Wolfe, age 72, of Murray City, Ohio, passed away November 14, 2022, at his residence.
Larry was born August 15, 1950, in Newark, Ohio to Wallace Wolfe and Barbara Hull Wolfe. He worked at Community Action, Perry County CETA, and the Athens County Board of MRDD; was a minister at several area churches. When he was younger, he loved motorcycles, his favorite bike was his Triumph; liked squirrel hunting, camping, and reading; and loved the ocean and Amish country.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Sandra “Sandy” Wolfe; son, Richard “Rick” (Martha) Wolfe of Athens; daughter, Jennifer (Joshua) Schultz of Lancaster; and grandchildren, Danielle Wolfe and Hunter Wolfe.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Christina “Christy” Brant.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M., Friday November 18, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Pastor Phil Foster officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery, Murray City, Ohio, where Military graveside services were conducted by the Combined Color Guard.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
