Leonard
Anderson, 82, of Sugar Grove, Ohio passed away February 8, 2018 at
Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Leonard was born August 22, 1935 in to Burky and Rhonda Anderson. He was
a graduate of Central High School in Columbus; retired from the U.S.
Air Force after 30 years and served during the Korean Conflict; member
of the Adelphi Church in Adelphi, Ohio; he was a farmer; and worked at
Anchor Hocking in Lancaster for 5 years.
Surviving are his children, Cheryl Lynn (Dave) Hollett of Lancaster,
Donald R. (Melissa) Anderson of Sugar Grove, and Robert C. (Mary)
Anderson of Beaver Creek; step-daughter Angela Marie Bartley of
Lancaster; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special
friends, Pastor Carol & Hank Carper of Laurelville, and Judy Queen
of Laurelville.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; wife Millie Jean Anderson;
daughter Carol Ann Brown; sons, Steven Clifton Anderson, and Leonard R.
Anderson Jr; several brothers and sisters; and 1 great-grandson, baby
Lenny Anderson.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 pm, Monday, February 12, 2018 at the
Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Carol Carper
officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Military
Graveside Services were conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours were observed Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm
at the funeral home.
