Leslie D. “Les” Baker, age 56, of Laurelville, Ohio, passed away July 28, 2023, at the University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
Les was born February 24, 1967, in Logan, Ohio to James Warren Baker and Ina Eileen Dicken Baker. He was a graduate of Logan High School; worked for many years at Progressive Flooring; an avid collector of knives; collected pocket watches; and loved NASCAR, guns, hunting, traveling, and anything outdoors.
Surviving are his son, Chris (Emily) Baker of Circleville; brother, Timothy Baker of Laurelville; sister, Brenda Baker of Laurelville; and grandchildren, Neveah Knapp, Jazzlyn Baker, Elliana Baker, and Haliegh Weaver.
Les was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Keith Baker.
Funeral services were held at 11 A.M., Thursday August 3, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Jim Vandagrif officiating. His burial was in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday and 10-11 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
