Letha Mae Nihiser, age 90, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away January 20, 2024, at Embassy of Logan, in Logan, Ohio.
She was born January 6, 1934, in Logan, Ohio to Orval Guy Smith and Clara Etta Pierson Smith.
Surviving are her sons, Craig Michael (Christine) Nihiser of Rockbridge and Brian (Judy) Nihiser of Logan; grandchildren, Lesha (Greg) Thrapp, Danielle (Bryan) Cox, Kyle (Kayla) Nihiser, and Kelly Nihiser; and great-grandchildren, Cassady (Jordan) Wolfe, Austin Thrapp, Macie Thrapp, Heath Cox, Luke Cox, Kaitlyn Nihiser, Lauryn Nihiser, Tristan Nihiser, and Landon Nihiser.
Letha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell Lester Nihiser; grandson, Korey Nihiser; sisters, Betty, Jean, Kate, Rosemond, Velma, and twin sister, Retha Walker; and brothers, Dick, Don, Glendon, and Harold.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Bev Stahr officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed 6-8 pm Wednesday, and 1-2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
