Lewis Allen Pierce, age 54, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away June 2, 2024, at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Lewis was born February 7, 1970, in Lancaster, Ohio to Lewis H. and Margaret N. Pierce. Lewis liked going camping, hunting, and fishing. He would search for ginseng as well. When Lewis had free time, he liked to draw. He was one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and he also had a great love for animals. He also loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his 6 children, Whittney Wood, Brandon Pierce, Tesla Hines, Cheyenne Pierce, Pacer Pierce, and Anthony Pierce; 4 grandchildren, Xaiver Thoyer, Calub Hines, Lincoln Pierce, and Rebekah Wood; 3 sisters, Kathy Yost, Tammy Huffer-Clark, and Kimberly Ruth; and many nieces and nephews.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Margaret Pierce; 2 siblings, Louann Cooper and Dennis Tufts; and nephew, Nick Costilo.
There was a private family viewing prior to cremation on Thursday June 6, 2024, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM and a short service, with Rev. John Williams officiating, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
A public celebration of life will be held on Thursday June 20, 2024, from 3:00 – 9:00 PM at the Pavilion at Rising Park, Lancaster, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that a donation be made to the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio to help with final expenses.
