Lewis W. Angle, age 87, of Mentone, Indiana, passed away June 2, 2024, at his residence.
Lewis was born May 3, 1937, in South Perry, Ohio to Edward Vernon Angle and Katherine Waverly Angle. He graduated from Logan High School; retired from Anchor Hocking in Lancaster; loved mushroom hunting, fishing, and casinos; and was a life member of Eagles.
Surviving are daughters, Beverly Ann Conley of Mentone, Indiana and Barbra Sue Huse of Idaville, Indiana; son, Timothy Edward Angle of Rochester, Indiana; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Bolin; and many nieces and nephews.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Penelope Jean Angle; son, Randy Lee Angle; and brothers, Vernon Angle Jr., Donald Angle, and Clarence Angle.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon, Wednesday June 5, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 10 am – 12 pm, on Wednesday at the funeral home.
