Linn E. Altman, age 88, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away June 2, 2023, at his residence.
Linn was born June 4, 1934, in Lancaster, Ohio to Noble Altman and Margaret Wetzel Altman. He served in The US Army; retired from G.E.; member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church; and enjoyed golfing, farming, and sitting on his porch watching the animals.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Nancy Altman; daughter, Debra (Ernie) Thrush of Henderson, NY; sister, Sue (Frank) Conrad of Bremen; and several nieces and nephews.
Linn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold; and sisters, Donna, Charlotte and Ruth.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Wednesday June 7, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gibisonville, Ohio. Following the burial, everyone was welcomed to attend a dinner being served at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Gibisonville.
Calling hours were observed 4-7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
