Lynda Lou Nelson, age 62, of Glouster, Ohio, passed away October 19, 2022, at her residence.
Lynda was born January 26, 1960, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Sammy Hook and Barbara Collins Hook. She loved gardening and keeping house; and loved rides in the fall and in the woods.
Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Nelson of Gallipolis; son Zachairah Nelson of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Kaite Nelson, Trinity Lawson, and Brilynn Gene Nelson; siblings, Bobby (Burl) Lanning of Glouster, Sandy Chesser of Stewart, Carolyn Hook of Nelsonville, Sammy Joe Hook of Carbon Hill, Amy Hook of Carbon Hill, and Rena (Elmer Knott) Hook of Glouster; and several nieces and nephews.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Nelson Sr.; son, Larry Nelson Jr.; and a sister, Tina Hook.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio. Burial was in Hook Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm Monday, at the funeral Home.
