Mabel Louise Stewart, age 98, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 12, 2025, at The Bickford, Lancaster, Ohio.

Mabel was born November 1, 1926, in Hocking County, Ohio to Sherman Harble and Fern Davis Harble. She graduated from Gibisonville High School; married Franklin L. Stewart, Sr. in February of 1945; a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker; enjoyed sewing quilts and crocheting; a member of the Kline Memorial Church; she and her husband liked to travel and spent many vacations fishing for walleye in Canada.                        

Surviving are her son Franklin L. (Marilyn) Stewart Jr. of Logan; daughter, Cathy L. Riley of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Troy W. (Jennifer) Rieder and Trisha L. (Jeff) Myers; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, and Baileigh Rieder, and Levi and Donavon Myers.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Franklin L. Stewart, Sr.; son-in-law, Gary Riley; and brother, Lawrence Davis.

Funeral services were held at 11 A.M., Friday January 17, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Mike Adkins officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 4-7 pm Thursday January 16, 2025, at the funeral home.
