Marjorie Cooper

Marjorie D Cooper, 88, of Logan, Ohio passed away August 21, 2018 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio. Marjorie was born September 1, 1929 in Logan, Ohio to Roscoe and Mabel Souders. She was a 1947 graduate of Logan High School; graduated from Columbus State College; a member of the First Church Praise and Worship Center; and a member of The American Leagon, AmVets, AARP and the Red Hatters. Surviving are her children, Leah E. Cooper, Paola L. Collins, Stephen L. Brown and Gregory S. Brown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jack (Phyllis) Souders, Roscoe Vaughn Souders, Marlene (Ben) Hurst-Ream, Jeffrey (Maggie) Souders, Martha (Richard) Smith, Cheryl Souders Howard, Shelia Calder and Barbara (Terry) Perry; aunts, Gail Freeman and Mary Ann Goss; and significant other, Clark R. Truax Sr.. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; Husbands, Robert Brown, Robert Hartranft and Benjamin Cooper; and daughters, Dolores Neville and Debra Fox. Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the First Church Praise and Worship Center, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Michael Martin officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Friday August 24, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest, a memorial contribution may be made to First Church Praise and Worship Center.
