Mary Elizabeth Vollmer, of Logan Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Embassy of Logan. She was born May 18, 1943, in Nelsonville, Ohio and was the daughter of Carlos and Phyllis (Perkins) Linton.
Mary was a homemaker, caretaker and faithful friend to all who knew her. She was also a long time member of The Logan Eagles, Aerie 2168.
She is survived by her children Mike (Carlie Rayman) Linton and Jeff (J’dean) Vollmer of Logan, stepchildren Elizabeth Hahn and Randy (Brenda) Vollmer of Logan, Ruthann (John) Baker of Wellston, nephew Wade (Jill) Davis of Logan whom she helped raise, and siblings Brenda Linton of Logan and Phil (Betty) Linton of Dayton. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many great friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Raymond L. Vollmer, her grandsons Derek Linton and Phillip Davis, siblings Jeannie Linton, Lois Linton, Bob Linton, Dan Linton, Sue Malone, Karen Davis, Ruth Cummans, Nancy Linton, Jerry Linton, and John Linton.
Graveside services were held on Monday October 9, 2023, at 11:30 am at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio with Father William Hahn, Mary’s grandson, officiating.
