Michael A. McGrath, age 58, of Trimble, Ohio, passed away July 17, 2023, at his residence.
Michael was born July 12, 1965, in Hocking County, Ohio to Leslie Michael McGrath and Lillian Pearl Cunningham McGrath. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and cards; and loved his dog, Scooter.
Surviving are his siblings, George McGrath, Steve McGrath (Summer Davis), Michelle McGrath, Priscilla McGrath (Rocky & Dink Willison/McGrath), and Lacie (Roger) Patterson; nieces, Amber Diebold, Sarah and Emily Heinlein, Cierra Perry, Cheyenne McGrath, and Emmalyn and Samara Patterson; nephews, Jordan(Cheyenne), Chris (Tessa), Dustin (Natile) Willison, Jeremiah Willison, Michael Diebold, Johne Ladeaux, Eric, Johnathon Heinlein, and Ryder Patterson; great-nephews and great-nieces, Mason Mateo, Henslee, Riella Willison Gavin, Kylie, Brantley, and Brielle; special friend, Victoria Byers; and his dogs, Scooter and Bags.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Angie “Jane” McGrath.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm., Friday July 28, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial was in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home, to help with Michael’s funeral expenses.
