Michael “Mikey” Alan Cox, age 36, of Logan, Ohio, passed away July 25, 2022, unexpectedly at his residence.
Mikey was born August 25, 1985, in Logan, Ohio to Richard L. Cox Jr. and Rose Marie Cox. Mikey loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, boating, biking, the ATV trails. He liked going to the local fairs and watching the truck and tractor pulls. However, most of all, he loved his children dearly.
Surviving are his father, Richard L. (Lisa) Cox Jr.; ex-wife, Jamie Cox and son, Remington; step-children, Skilahr and Daniel; son, Kolton-Michael Cox; step-daughter, Harmony Jones; brothers, Ricky (Jessie) Cox and David Cox; and sisters, Lacy Cox and Hester (Michael) Stone.
Mikey was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Cox; sister, Danielle Cox; grandparents, Richard Cox Sr., Velma Cox, John Dalton, and Carol Dalton; and aunt, Mary “Sis” (Chuck) Perry.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Saturday July 30, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
Funeral services were held following calling hours at 8:00 P.M., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Cremation followed the services and a graveside service will be held on August 25, 2022, at 3 P.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
