Nancy A. Vasko Sanborn, age 83, of Murray City, Ohio, passed away October 14, 2023, at Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation, Lancaster, Ohio.
Nancy was born September 30, 1940, in Murray City to John Vasko Jr. and Melda Boley Vasko. Nancy married the love of her life, Jim in 1959. She loved her family more than anything, her face would light up when her children and grandchildren were around.
Surviving are her children, Marty Sanborn of Murray City and Cindy (Tim Person) of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kevin Wells, Christopher (Briget) Wells, Alanna Sanborn, Johnathon (Alex)Sanborn, and Mitchell Sanborn; 7 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Larry (Joan) Vasko of Marion, and Don (Roberta) Vasko of Logan.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, James “Jim” Sanborn; son, Ronald Sanborn; and brother, Bob Vasko.
Funeral services were held at 10 A.M., Wednesday October 18, 2023, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Deacon Don Robers officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 4-8 pm Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Murray City, Ohio.
