Nelson Del Long, age 62, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 5, 2022, at his residence.
Del was born August 27, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio to Edward Del Long and Betty Registar. Del loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. His passions in life were the meticulous bodywork he did on cars and NASCAR.
Surviving are his loving wife, Tracy Long; daughter, Brenna Long; step-children, Jacob Harris, Justin (Leah) Harris, and Jillain (Joseph) Brown; grandchildren, Remington, Kaden, Bryson, Jace, Lincoln, and Weston; brother, Todd Long; sisters, Melanie (Tracey) McCall and Rhonda Buchanan; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Stefka (Ave); and special nephews, Blake and Shannon.
Del was preceded in death by his father, Edward Long; brother-in-law, Buck Buchanan; and niece, Maci McCall.
Following Del’s wishes, Del will be cremated following a private goodbye visitation by his beloved family at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
