Norma Faye Sprouse, 86, of Union Furnace, Ohio passed away September 24, 2018 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio. Norma was born April 21, 1932 in Meigs County, Ohio to Harry and Alma McGlothlin. She was a volunteer at Logan Health Care and Hocking Valley Community Hospital for many years; and was a founding member of the Ladies Auxillary of Starr Township Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are her granddaughter Haylee Sprouse of Logan; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Betty McGlothlin. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas Milton Sprouse who passed away August 13, 2018 and whom she married on August 31, 1952; son Tony Milton Sprouse; sisters, Mary (Frank) Cherry and Leda Lambert; and brothers, Max (Ruth) McGlothlin and Cecil McGlothlin. Funeral services were held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. A private entombment was held at Fairview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Rockbridge, Ohio on Friday, September 28, 2018. Calling hours were observed September 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm to time of service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation can be made to the Starr Township Fire Department.
