Paul Byron Lenigar, 54, of Glouster, Ohio passed away December 24, 2014 at his residence. Paul was born May 30, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to Walter and Delma Lenigar. He was in the Army National Guard; obtained an Associates degree at Hocking College; and owner of Paul’s Fine Foods in Athens. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Lenigar of Glouster; children, Shonda (Dave) Walker of Nelsonville, Stephanie (Carl) McCown of Glouster, Carrie (Ren) Lenigar of Dayton, Shonata (Josh) Holbrook of Trimble, and Byron (Ciara) Lenigar of Glouster; step-children, Renee (Brian) McKee of Glouster, Jessica (Brad) Larsen, Zoath (Sarah) Monroe of Athens, and Latoria Presnell; 26 grandchildren; sisters, Mildred (Denzil) Roberts of Middleport and Barbara Wogan of Athens; brothers, Christopher Lenigar of Columbus and Steve (Evelyn) Lenigar of Pomroy, Walter Thomas (Paula) Lenigar of Springfield, James (Jackie )Lenigar-Conley of Athens, and Timothy (Winiford Marks) Lenigar of Pomeroy; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Velma Lenigar. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two children at birth; grandson, Charles Gregory Lenigar; and granddaughter, Alyssa Jane Holbrook. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Rev. Elijah Brooks officiating. Burial was in Beech Grove Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday, December 29, 2014 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. The family suggests donations be made to Brown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
